CLINICAL TRIALS

Clinical trials are very strictly supervised. In rheumatology at present, the trials afford patients with rheumatoid or psoriatic arthritis in particular, but sometimes other rheumatological disorders, such as SLE or ankylosing spondylitis, to receive medication for their illness, which they may not otherwise have access to.

Benefits include access to the drug, careful clinical follow-up with Lee Webster and the doctors, as well as frequent significant improvement in their joint and skin symptoms. The patients often report that they feel incredibly better and relish the supportive environment of a clinical trial.

Clinical trials also ensure that both the rheumatologists remain up to date with the latest available treatments.
